E-Mentoring

Within the asynchronous online platform, students are guided through an individualized curriculum with a current professional to learn healthy human resource identification, professionalism, career readiness, and emotional intelligence.

  1. Identify and develop healthy relationships

    With consistent guidance regarding healthy human resources according to their goals, students will learn to identify and maintain healthy relationships.

  2. Develop Direction and Goals

    Through personality, skill, and career assessments students will define their own lifestyle goals. With the direct guidance and resource of their mentor, the students will develop a realistic outline to achieve their goal.

  3. Overcome destructive habits and increase self-esteem

    Through guided emotional intelligence exercises, students will develop plans to protect their self-esteem and achievement of their goals. Mentors will help students document their self-destructive behaviors then develop strategies to replace that behavior with better ones.

  4. Develop skills to obtain and maintain personal achievements

    With set plans to graduate, and a plan to maintain day-to-day academic responsibilities, students will set checkpoint goals including formal career training, financial planning, and personal interest planning. Mentors will provide necessary information to advance their progress and avoid pitfalls.
